LG Establishes B2B Academy in Lagos, Nigeria to Upskill HVAC Professionals

LG Electronics has opened its second Business-to-Business (B2B) Academy in Lagos, Nigeria, reaffirming its commitment to advancing sustainable high-level air conditioning (HVAC) technology and improving skill development. The academy's launch was announced by Hysoung Sub Ji, the Managing Director of LG Electronics Nigeria.

 

"LG aims to further develop and respond to the growing needs of the Nigerian market with the opening of the new academy center," stated Hysoung Sub Ji. "As we consistently introduce new technologies and energy-efficient products to guarantee optimal comfort and air quality, we remain committed to our social responsibility and to advancing knowledge and skills to empower everyone. We are eager to broaden our industry knowledge and offer premium, environmentally friendly air conditioning systems."

 

The LG Academy's operating officer, Gouranga Mandal, emphasized the importance of staying current with technical advancements in the HVAC sector. "Recent years have seen new technology developments in the HVAC sector. New goods and services that lower expenses, boost customer happiness, and improve energy efficiency are being introduced," he explained.

 

Mandal further elaborated that the academy will showcase a variety of LG's information display and air conditioning devices, including the ArtCool Mirror, Multi V outdoor units, Air-to-Water Heat Pump, and several VRF indoor units. The goal is to upskill and train HVAC specialists using the latest technologies, enabling them to deliver high-quality work for the industry.
