Liverpool an “Ideal” Destination for Kane’s Premier League Return - Paper Round

Liverpool an “Ideal” Destination for Kane’s Premier League Return - Paper Round

Harry Kane is reportedly considering a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool emerging as a prime destination if he leaves Bayern Munich this summer, according to Spanish outlet El Nacional. Despite being under contract until 2027, Kane's desire to return to England could play a crucial role in negotiations. Liverpool could make a serious push for the former Tottenham striker, who remains intent on finishing his career in England.

No Return for Rashford at Manchester United

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has no plans to reintegrate Marcus Rashford into the squad. Rashford, who joined Aston Villa on loan in January after falling out of favour at United, has rediscovered his form and earned an England recall. Villa could secure his permanent transfer for around £60m.

Amorim, unimpressed with Rashford’s attitude, is keen to bring in a new striker and hopes Rashford’s performances at Villa will increase his market value. United’s stance remains firm: there is no way back for Rashford at Old Trafford.

Mings’ Euro 2028 role

Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings is set to join the board of directors for Euro 2028 while continuing his playing career, according to The Telegraph. The tournament, hosted across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, will see Mings take on a key organisational role.

FA chair Debbie Hewitt is expected to announce her board this week, with the 32-year-old centre-back likely to be included. Alongside chief executives from each host nation’s FA, the board will feature independent non-executive directors overseeing the month-long event, which includes 51 matches.

Mings will be the most prominent active footballer in such a position, bringing valuable insight as a former England international. The last of his 18 caps came nearly two years ago, and at 35, he is expected to be still playing when the tournament begins.

Juventus Sack Thiago Motta, Appoint Igor Tudor

Juventus have dismissed Thiago Motta and appointed Igor Tudor as their new head coach. Tudor, a former Juventus player with 174 appearances and multiple titles, returns to lead the club amid their push for UEFA Champions League qualification.

Motta's tenure ended after a 3-0 loss to Fiorentina before the international break. A club statement confirmed his departure, thanking him and his staff for their dedication. Tudor will take charge immediately, with his first game against Genoa on Saturday. Currently sitting fifth in Serie A, Juventus are battling for a top-four finish and a spot in next season’s Champions League.

With major shake-ups at top clubs and transfer speculation heating up, the upcoming summer window promises to be eventful.
