It's another Friday! Happy Friday, everyone!
Truthfully, the new trend is that we totally forget to take breaks off our phones. For some of us, the only time we take phone breaks, is when we are asleep. You may not do that intentionaaly, but whatever the reason is, you and I are gradually becoming addicts. Wait! I'm not the addict here, you are. But let's call a spade a spade. The Weekdays are filled with emails, social media, and screen time, but this weekend, it's time to take a break. So, I’m throwing down a fun and refreshing challenge for you: 24 hours of Digital Detox!
The Challenge:
Take a break from all digital screens for 24 hours this weekend. This means no scrolling through social media, no emails, no Netflix, and no constant notifications. You can still use your phone for essential calls or texts, but let’s try to disconnect and focus on being present in the moment.
Why It Matters:
We spend a lot of time online, and while it's a great tool for work and connecting with others, it's also easy to get caught in endless scrolling and distractions. Taking a break from screens can:
Boost productivity:
Free from constant notifications, you can focus more on what matters.
Improve mental health:
Constantly being connected can lead to stress, comparison, and burnout. A break allows for some mental clarity.

It’s a perfect time to indulge in hobbies, read a book, or go outside for a walk—things we often overlook when glued to screens.

Turn off notifications, or even put your phone out of sight to make the challenge easier.
